Epiroc – Parental Leave
To foster a more inclusive and diverse culture, Epiroc is now launching a gender-neutral global parental leave policy. This offers at least 12 weeks of paid parental leave to everyone across the organization.
The new policy, called “When life transforms, applies to all new mothers and fathers, including same-sex, surrogate, and adoptive parents. The leave may be taken at any time within the first year of parenthood.
Epiroc's 12-week parental leave policy provides all parents, regardless of where they live, with generous time to bond with their new child and adjust to their new role. Many countries currently have local standards that offer more than 12 weeks, and of course, these shall prevail. On the other hand, in several countries, parenthood is difficult due to short parental leave. In many places, fathers have no parental leave at all – this global policy will now cover them.
